That’s the sentiment behind Farmhouse Direct. An initiative developed by Australia Post with the support of the Victorian Farmers’ Markets Association, you now have direct access to locally produced food and products, regional delicacies and cottage-industry items every day.
Farmhouse Direct gives you the best of a farmers’ market with the convenience of quality produce delivered direct to your door. By buying from Farmhouse Direct you are purchasing directly from the grower and the producer of your favourite foods and by doing so, you are returning money to local and regional communities. Make sure to check the site regularly as new growers and producers are being added to the site daily.
This Friday we will be supporting Wallington Primary School by taking a stall at their Night Market from 7.30 pm. This should be a good evening with 28 varied stalls, raffles and a glass of bubbly on entry!
The school is having a whole school concert for the first time and they are hoping that the money raised will help to put on this production and also enable them to purchase some instruments for the music room.
